Networking at IG4U
What is IG4U
IG4U is a FREE networking group for Information Governance Leads and Managers, Caldicott Guardians, FOI Leads, Data Protection Leads, and Records Managers. The group is to support all those working in the area of Information Governance in health and social care, from both the public and private sectors. The group is chaired by Peter Wilson, Information Governance Manager & Caldicott Guardian Support at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and sponsored by Dilys Jones Associates Ltd.
Membership gives the opportunity to meet colleagues working in the field, to hear about useful resources, to share tools and policy issues, to work on cases and scenarios in a supportive environment and to learn more about what is new and helpful.

Next IG4U Meeting - 14th October 2010
The next IG4U meeting will be held on 14th October 2010 in the South of England (venue to be confirmed). We are currently taking reservations for this event, so please complete the booking form to reserve your place. Please note that this always proves to be a popular event and spaces are limited.
DJA E-mail Forum for Information Governance Professionals
We are pleased to announce the launch of our E-mail Forum.
The Forum aims to provide the opportunity to:
- network with other Information Governance Professionals
- share policies, procedures and tips
- find useful tools for implementation, training and awareness raising
- learn about new initiatives and courses available from DJA
We shall be providing routine moderation of the Forum to ensure that postings are appropriate. The Forum is easy to register for, and to log onto, and provides a range of threads and discussion areas.
