Individual Coaching

Let us help you with your performance. We can help you with issues relating to poor performance, interpersonal difficulties, stress and tension, work life balance and other areas. We can help you fine tune your skills, develop new ones and help you to benefit from positive use of the emotional competencies, learn to manage yourself and others even better.

We use an outcomes focused approach; with you in the driving seat. There are several stages:

Initial Discussion:

You tell us where you are now and where you want to be

Assessment:

We look in depth with you at the areas you would like to change. We carry out some assessment, using a range of tools designed to help us to work together to identify what needs to be tackled to assist you to meet your objectives

Agree Action Plan and Set Goals:

We agree the course of action, set the goals, and decide on how they will be achieved and over what time scale.

Sessions and Review

We meet regularly as you implement the changes with our support. Actions and work to be done before the next session (to ensure agreed objectives are met) are agreed. We can keep in contact between sessions by telephone and e-mail, or by additional meetings. At the sessions we review progress and “tweak” the process as necessary. There are usually between 4 and 7 sessions. But the number of sessions, their length and the time span over which we meet is tailored to your individual needs.

Final Review

We meet and assess the progress made overall. Any follow up arrangements are confirmed e.g. the appointment of a mentor.

Contracts

We always agree a contract with you in our first coaching session.


 

Team Coaching

We can help you and your team, or a team within your organisation. Sometimes there are tensions and conflicts within teams and they may not be performing as well as they could. Sometimes teams face particular challenges and benefit from coaching to assist with meeting the challenge. Team members can learn about the team roles, where they have most strengths and where they have dependencies.

We use a range of tools to assist with this; and use outcomes focused processes to carry out the work with you.

Cross-organisation approaches

We have a range of cross organisation in-house approaches to help you:

  • Introduce coaching and mentoring approaches
  • Develop coaching for line managers
  • Introduce a mentoring approach and setting up a mentoring scheme
  • Introduce a coaching approach and setting up a coaching scheme
  • Develop emotional competencies and better management of people within your organisation

  • With appraiser training, conflict and negotiation skills, equality and diversity
